The Ames Choral Society presents its spring concert “Let the World Sing Today” on Sunday, April 30, 7 pm, at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 209 Colorado Ave., Ames. Tickets are $12 in adva
nce and $15 at the door, available from Rieman Music and Choral Society members. Children under 12 are admitted free. Directed by Steve Hoifeldt, who is celebrating his 35 th season with the Ames Choral Society, the concert will feature songs from Africa, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Romania and the USA. Barb Evenson is the accompanist for the concert; “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing” will feature guitar accompaniment.
